The CEO of the EOS network foundation said in his recent proposal to limit the supply of their renowned currency i.e EOS Crypto at 2.1 billion online and destroy the remaining tokens/coins in market. Because the company supplied for more than 10 million tokens in their drop , this decision will burn about 80% of their supply keeping it fixed at 2.1 billion only .
The EOS Network placed the proposal earlier to limit the supply before the creators of the block later they also took the control of most of the supply from Block.one after 2021.
For their proposal on limiting their supply in the market , the EOS Crypto team also did consensus with some experts of the coin market and the limiting of the supply is going to happen in the coming months where the users or holders might see a cancellation of their holding or churning of their holding on the coin on a massive point .
In the market after loosing some of the supply with the news of limit , they hold around a supply of 1.15 billion tokens which is still under the regulation of EOS Team.
Earlier , to spread accross all the EOS Tokens the company minted about 950 million tokens to keep the trading on and spreading the word of EOS holdings . The $EOS Group was established by Yves La Rose in 2021, while it was a holding entity taken from Block.one . With Block.One , the first EOS Crypto Airdrop was made there in 2017-18 where after having objections in the performance and declining share of Block.One the company was compelled to sell it to EOS group.
